My Approach

Using a client-centred approach, I guide our sessions based on what resonates most with you and your individual needs. You can expect an open and receptive environment, and a safe space where emotions can be deeply felt and expressed.

I employ a range of effective modalities to support your healing and growth, but my purpose is not to guide or dictate your path for you. It’s to facilitate your empowerment and help you create a stable and strong foundation within yourself. My highest priority with you is co-creating an engaging and authentic therapeutic relationship instilled with integrity, trust, healing and compassion.

My practice is based on Spiritual Psychotherapy and focuses on deep, internal, transpersonal work. At your pace, we will explore the connections between your current experiences and your past. We will bring conscious awareness to your emotions, behaviours, and relationships.

We will challenge the inner obstacles that are holding you back, and, when you’re ready, bring old wounds to the surface to be healed and transformed. Together we will find and create connection between mind, body, and spirit to bring more joy, love and fulfilment into your daily life.

What is Spiritual Psychotherapy?

The word “psychotherapy’ is derived from two words in Ancient Greek. The first is psyche, meaning breath, spirit, soul. The second is therapeia, which means healing. The term “psychotherapy” thus means “healing of the soul”.

If your soul had a voice, what would it say?

Spiritual psychotherapy helps us connect both deeper within and further beyond our selves.

The beyond means our relationships, jobs, communities, planet, and the cosmos. We engage in this personal process knowing that the work we do for ourselves benefits all around us, too. Spiritual psychotherapy helps us find strength from beyond ourselves to cultivate inner healing. It also helps us understand and feel the connection to the divine or mystical experiences that bring a sense of wonder and mystery to our lives.

Spiritual psychotherapy helps us hear that quiet internal voice that may have been silenced for so long, yet speaks our inner truth. When we listen carefully and ask the right questions, we can learn what our soul truly needs. We can rekindle our inner life and create a dialogue with the deepest parts of ourselves.

We can meet our inner child, learn about and more fully understand our sub-personalities. We can use focusing to recognize our felt senses and the messages they hold for us. Going within, we realize that pain often resides in the body, and spiritual psychotherapy helps us uncover both physical and energetic emotional blocks. By engaging with our inner support systems, we can feel less alone, move out of stagnation, and better endure any hardships that come our way.

Spiritual psychotherapy both transcends and includes more traditional methods. Not every session needs to be psychologically deep or spiritually involved. You’re welcome to come and just unload, share what you need to share, and receive reflection and support.

Together, we will work towards inner alignment. We’ll aim to expand consciousness, heal the soul, trauma, core wounds, and so much more. Following this path leads to a whole and fulfilling life filled with beauty, meaning, and wonder.
